Services

The core of Deborah’s work involves evaluating and addressing conflict. In investigations, she determines the material facts underlying complaints. In audits, she pinpoints best practices for handling complaints. In arbitrations, she renders decisions that resolve the parties’ disputes. In mediations, she helps parties find ways to settle their disagreements.

Workplace INVESTIGATIONS

Deborah investigates nearly all forms of workplace conflict. The source of the allegations may be an employee report, an anonymous complaint, a lawyer’s letter, or an inquiry into a different matter. The subjects of the allegations often are CEOs or other C-suite executives, in-house lawyers, human resources professionals, or others in highly sensitive positions.

The process involves developing an investigation plan, gathering and analyzing information, evaluating issues, and reporting outcomes. Deborah is accustomed to delivering findings clearly and succinctly to Boards of Directors, majority shareholders, and other decision-makers.

Investigation Audits

Deborah audits previously conducted investigations. She analyzes the approach, conduct, and outcome, identifies areas for improvement, and devises practical solutions.

Arbitrations

Deborah arbitrates an array of disputes, including commercial matters, contractual claims, employment issues, securities issues, and legal fee disputes.

Deborah mediates at various stages of conflict, including disputes between current employees and matters already in litigation. She addresses commercial claims, contractual matters, and all forms of disagreements relating to employment.
